Ordinals Explorer

Explore Bitcoin inscriptions, calculate satoshi rarity, and view BRC-20 tokens.

Inscription Lookup

Enter an inscription ID (transaction hash, optionally txidi0) for direct lookup, or a Bitcoin address to scan its recent transactions for inscription activity.

Limits of this tool

This tool reads raw on-chain data through the mempool.space proxy. It detects inscription envelopes (the "ord" marker in taproot witnesses) in transactions, which covers inscription creations and transfers it is involved in.

It cannot resolve inscription numbers to IDs or list all inscriptions ever held by an address — that requires a full ordinal index (see ordinals.com links on each result for complete data).

About Ordinals

Ordinals is a protocol that assigns unique numbers to individual satoshis (sats), allowing them to be tracked, transferred, and inscribed with digital content. Each satoshi becomes a unique digital artifact on the Bitcoin blockchain.

Inscriptions: Digital content (images, text, code) permanently stored on Bitcoin by attaching it to a specific satoshi.

BRC-20: A token standard using Ordinals inscriptions to create fungible tokens on Bitcoin, similar to ERC-20 on Ethereum.
